A Glimpse of Libya by Mo Holland
Libya is at last coming out of its isolation, providing us with greater access to a fascinating and richly diverse country. It is a country which has had its fair share of invasions - the Romans, Greeks, Vandals, Byzantines, Arabs, Turks and Italians have all left their mark. The country has some of the most remarkable sites in North Africa with Roman and Greek remains in abundance. Mo takes us on a visual tour of the most accessible, looking at life then and now.
