Following the award of the Project Planning Grant from the Heritage Lottery and Big Lottery Funds, South Lakeland District Council in conjunction with the 3Ps Group have appointed John Coward Architects of Cartmel to assist with the preparation of the Stage One Bid for the Parks for People scheme.
Working with the 3Ps Project Group the aim is to have the bid presented in September this year.
To help keep people informed of progress a notice board has been placed near to the Town Council entrance in the Victoria Hall on which will be posted, proposals, drawings, plans and other information.
The AGM of the 3Ps Group will be held on the 13th June in the Victoria Hall at 2pm.
